Bulletin.text:
Without MultiBltn, you'd use this as your main current bulletin, and reset
the flags for the users when you post a new one. With MultiBltn, this is
only seen once, by the Guests after they register, so it's more or less the
same thing as the guest.text.
New Member Bulletin:
Since this is your first call, allow me to make a few suggestions for your
first downloads. Got a notepad ready? If you're an old hand, just skim down
a bit, there are some things you might want to know.
Okay, scribble down:
LZX.run - This is the basic package needed for decompressing LZX
files. It's the LZX program and some assorted files,
including my easy docs. Just type the name in a CLI,
"LZX.run", and it'll automatically decompress into all
the files you need.
Noahs.arc - Amiga tutorial for all beginners and most intermediates.
This is an .arc file, you'll need Pkax to decompress it.
NComm20.lzx - If you're having any problems at all with your terminal
program, try this one out. Has my easy.docs, colors look
great and has my custom fonts.
AmiFonts.lzx - Go to the Bulletins Menu and try the font test. If
things don't look like they should, get these fonts and
follow the enclosed instructions. They also make an
excellent font in interlace mode.
DU-VI.lzx - A nice simple Directory Utility, a must for new users. If
you want a fancier DU, try AmiUtil2 or DW161. If you want
the best, download SID20.lzx, a terrific DU.
If you want a list of all files on the board, go to Files/ExtraStuff Menu.
Have a good time!
